About Our Company’s Origins

Throughout the past 30 years, the business world has dramatically changed; so have the programs our company implements. From our corporate leadership development program to employee skills assessments, our company has never strayed from our original objective to achieve productive and profitable workplaces that attract, retain and leverage talent. We have served clients in more than 30 countries.

Founded in 1980, the company was started by Dr. Joanne G. Sujansky. She created the organization because she was interested in the field of leadership, change, and employee retention. Dr. Sujansky was an expert in her field and established herself by being published in at least 14 publications. In addition, she was an author of one of the first books in the field, titled The Power of Partnering: Commitment and Action.

Charles-SujanskyR. Charles Sujansky – Chief Executive Officer

Chuck directs the strategic management of the company, consults with executive clients, and leads the workforce solutions division of the company. Chuck is qualified in the use of customized tools for companies so they get the results they need in areas like improving retention and reducing hiring costs. He specializes in group facilitation to develop leaders, labor relations, ROI human resources practices, and productivity enhancement.

Jan-Ferri-Reed-sJan Ferri-Reed – President

Jan has presented a variety of programs to managers and employees in a range of organizations around the globe. She focuses on the field of executive consultation, which creates and supports retention cultures. Jan is an excellent facilitator of senior-level planning sessions where top leadership identifies values and behaviors that make their organizations stand out. She writes novels and includes executive consultation to create and support retention cultures. She is highly sought out as a speaker and workshop presenter. Kelly-Hanna-sKelly Parker Hanna – Director of Sales and Marketing

Kelly directs the marketing and PR activities for keynotes, books, and products. In addition, she maintains our reputation by developing e-marketing and social marketing efforts for KEYGroup. Kelly places value in key customer contacts and keeps our company actively involved in speaking engagements for industry conferences, corporate events, and convention shows. Kelly is actively involved in volunteer commitments throughout the community including projects with The March of Dimes, The American Diabetes Association, and The American Heart Association.

Kenneth Kovach-sKenneth J. Kovach – Senior Consultant and Manager

Ken focuses on human resources development and organization development while serving as a senior consultant and manager of the Cleveland office. His education and work experience has given him a unique expertise in community sociology, ethnic and minority group relations, strategic planning, and organizational learning. Throughout the years, Ken has served as a group facilitator both in and out of the United States. Most notably, he has been specially assigned to complete work for the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the U.S. Commission on Neighborhoods, and even the U.S. Department of Commerce. He is experienced in designing and presenting education and training programs for all levels and ranges of employees.

Edward-Donovan-sEdward J. Donovan – Director of Assessment and Program Develop and Senior Consultant

Ed specializes in employee satisfaction and workplace need assessments. He is seasoned in driving organizational change for increased growth and profitability. He specializes in actually designing and delivering different types of needs assessments for both employees and entire workplaces. Throughout the years, Ed has worked with clients in various fields like retail, health care, manufacturing, the public sector, and financial institutions. He was and is one of our primary developers of team building programs that are innovative and fun. Some of his designs even are equine-assisted programs.
