The Leadership Development Process

Assessment


  • Input (focus groups, web-based surveys and surveys and/or teleconferences) from a random sample of participants is collected to uncover skill gaps.
  • Participants take assessments specific to needs.
  • Assessment results and input are used to select and customize learning modules.

Follow-up and
Reinforcement

  • Monthly learning groups, (teleconferences, webinars, etc.) are facilitated by individual participants.
  • Assessment is re-administered to determine progress 10-12 months later.
  • One-on-one executive coaching is provided to high potential performers.

Follow-up and
Reinforcement

  • Participants schedule pre-session meeting with their managers to review learning module objectives and content.
  • Participants mutually establish development goals with their managers based on assessment results.
  • Development goals are incorporated into   the performance management system.

Delivery of
Learning Modules

  • Learners are grouped in workshops of
    5-18 participants each.
  • Sessions are highly interactive and include on-the-job tools.
